This year’s Gibraltar Music Festival has been cancelled

https://justmusing.net/2010/09/11/shes-making-movies-on-location/ The Gibraltar Government announced the cancellation of the Gibraltar Music Festival yesterday, along with details of other events that have been cancelled, or that are still going ahead but maybe cancelled at a later date depending on developments with the Covid-19 outbreak.
The reason given for cancelling the Music Festival is: “The Cabinet, on the advice received, has decided that there cannot be a Gibraltar Music Festival in 2020. The reason for taking the decision at this early stage is because public funds would need to be expended now, in advance, on signature of contracts and no insurance is available at reasonable cost to cover the potential loss of fees paid if the concert has to be cancelled in September.”
